The Standard Carbon Cartridge Set will give you the reliable, standard performance that most RO Water Systems come pre-loaded with. Although standard sets have larger micron ratings and aren't usually rated for VOC* reduction, Premium Water Filters makes sure that you get the best quality for an affordable price, especially with the Matrikx CTO/2 carbon blocks. With this set, you'll get the following high performance cartridges:
- (3) Purtrex 5 micron disposable Spun Poly Sediment Filters
- (2) Matrikx CTO/2 carbon and sediment filter (5-10 microns) for Chlorine, Taste, and Odor reduction, not VOC Reduction.
- (1) OmniPure GAC 10" Post Filter with 1/4" threaded ports (change at least every 12 months)
Don't forget to order your specific RO Membrane separately. Be sure to Order the same GPD (Gallons Per Day) Rating as the one you are replacing.
* VOC means Volatile Organic Compounds. These are organic contaminants such as industrial solvents, gasoline ingredients, benzene, toluene, xylene, certain pesticides, certain herbicides, chlorinated solvents, etc.
