Required Operating Conditions of the GE Merlin Tankless RO System:

Install on potable cold water line only.

Inlet Hardness:0 mg./L (0 Grains) – 171 mg./L (10 Grains)

Inlet Pressure: must be 50 – 80 PSI. Pressure higher than 80 PSI requires the addition of a Filtamate 85 PSI Pressure Limiting Valve. Pressures lower than 50 PSI may lead to the unit running continuously to the drain. Do not purchase this unit if your water pressure is less than 50 PSI.

Notice: RO membranes are quickly clogged by hard water when the water pH is > 9.5
- Do not purchase the GE Merlin if your household water pressure is less than 50 PSI.
- Do not purchase the GE Merlin if if your Total Hardness is >10Grains, if your Iron is >0.1 ppm, if your Manganese is >0.05 ppm, or if your TDS is > 2,000 ppm.
- Do not purchase the GE Merlin if your water temperature will be 40 F. or less.
