We've engineered this system to give you superior performance and to be the finest undersink carbon filter on the market. Provides superior carbon filtration for (2-3 GPM) kitchen sink faucets. Features include:
- Connects between your existing faucet and the water supply with 2 Braided Water Supply Hoses (not included)
- Whenever you turn on your cold water at the sink you always get carbon-purified water from a premium-performance jumbo-sized carbon block at a high flow rate with minimal pressure drop.
- Included: Premium Matrikx +5 Carbon Block. (4.5"x10") See pdf file of carbon block.
- You get super carbon performance from VOC-rated coconut shell carbon. Reduces Chlorine, Taste, Odors, for 20,000 gal. @ 3 GPM and Volatile Organic Compounds for 1,750 gallons @ 1.5 GPM
- Totally outperforms other systems that use the standard 2.5"x10" carbons for this application. Contains 3 times more compressed activated carbon than a standard sized 2.5" carbon block and also allows water to flow with less pressure loss.
- Engineered for high performance and high purity of components. Contains no PVC, brass, lead, or chrome parts.
- High purity design features ultra-premium Pharmaceutical Grade (Type 316) Stainless Steel 1/2" Nipples (male pipe thread) on each port.
- Hook this up to your kitchen faucet's cold water supply with 2 (commonly available) Braided Water Supply Connection Hoses (not supplied).
- Stands on it's own. Mounting is not necessary, but an Optional Mounting Bracket with Stainless Screws is available. Makes tightening and un-tightening much easier. (See below.)
- Approx. Dimensions: 15” tall x 9.5” wide (nipple to nipple) x 7.5” deep
- Max. Operating Pressure: 90 PSI. Notice: For cold water lines only
- Max. Recommended Flow Rate: 1.5 GPM for VOCs, and 3 GPM for Chlorine, Taste, and Odors.
- What You Get: Heavy Duty filter housing with pharmaceutical stainless steel nipples inserted, premium Matrikx +5 carbon block , and plastic housing wrench.
- What you need: You need to procure (2) Braided Water Connection Hoses ( 36" long) that are 1/2" size on at least one end (to connect to this unit) and the other ends need to match the size of 1) your cold water supply connection and 2) your cold water faucet threads. Call us if you cannot get these yourself locally.
- Installation Note: Be sure there is a shut-off valve just upstream of the IN port supply hose so you can turn off the cold water in order to change out the cartridge. OPTION: We have created a brass-free high purity Shut-Off Valve Assembly if you need a valve and do not want to use brass or PVC sold at stores.
